Can I get an extension on the deadline?
Unfortunately, we cannot grant extensions. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on March 16, 2024. Submissions must be submitted before this date to be accepted.
Do you offer a cash prize?
While we do not offer a cash prize, winners will receive a $500 gift card to Pair Eyewear. Additionally, their winning design will be featured in our Love Wins Collection, with all contributions from that design going to GLSEN.
Can I submit my work via email?
We do not accept entries via email. Please submit all entries through our official website registration process.
Will you confirm receipt of my entries?
We do not automatically confirm receipt of entries. Participants are encouraged to ensure their submission has been successfully uploaded via our website.
How do I edit an entry that has already been submitted?
To edit a submission, please get in touch with us at [email protected] with your entry details and the changes you wish to make.
Can I enter multiple submissions?
Participants are limited to one entry per person. Multiple submissions will result in disqualification.
If my entry is accepted, what materials will you need for reproduction?
Upon acceptance, we will request high-resolution materials for reproduction purposes.
What rights do I retain if my work is chosen?
Selected participants must grant us the right to reproduce the image(s) for our online, digital, and print-based publications. Please note this is a non-exclusive right for a specified period.
How does the judging process work?
Judging is conducted in two stages. Initially, two jurors will independently review a portion of all entries, marking them as "in" or "out." Entries that move to the final round are then reviewed again, requiring a simple majority for a win.
When will I know if my entry was chosen?
Selected entrants will be notified within two weeks after the final deadline. Due to the volume of submissions, only those whose work is accepted will be contacted.
Do you accept print entries?
We have an online-only evaluation system and will not accept printed submissions.
Is there an entry fee?
There is no entry fee required to participate in this competition. No purchase necessary
Are team submissions allowed?
Submissions must be from individual participants only. Team entries are not permitted.
Are international submissions eligible to participate?
No, this is exclusively for individuals residing in the 50 United States and District of Columbia
Is there a standard file naming format for design sketches and permission forms?
There is no strict file-naming format.
Are there any limitations on what I can design?
Your design should adhere to the guidelines provided in our Design Guidelines document. There are no restrictions beyond these guidelines.
Do I need a parent/legal guardian consent form if I am 18 or 19?
Yes, participants 18 or 19 years old and in high school must have a parent or legal guardian review and sign the consent form.
Minimum age 14 years old by March 1, 2024.
