How do I send my prescription?

When purchasing your glasses you will be given three options:

1. Upload a picture of your prescription to our website (fastest option)

2. Email us a picture of your prescription to hello@paireyewear.com

3. Have us call your doctor

Please include your pupillary distance with the prescription.

What if my prescription does not have pupillary distance on it?

Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance (measured in millimeters) between the centers of the pupils in each eye. This measurement is used when preparing to make prescription glasses. If your prescription did not come with pupillary distance there are three things you can do:

1. Measure your pupillary distance at home. Click here to find out how.

2. Head to one of our partnered stores to have them measure it (find a store here)

3. Head to any optometrist or optical store and have them measure your pupillary distance. Most will do it for free, but we will reimburse up to $20 in cost, within 30 days of your purchase. Just email us at hello@paireyewear.com with the receipt

Can I order more than one top frame?

Yes! We encourage everyone to purchase as many top frames as they would like. The best part about Pair is being able to change the way your glasses look whenever you want.

Can I purchase non prescription glasses or sunglasses?

Yes, you can choose non-prescription when choosing your frames on our website. We offer non-prescription for both eyeglasses and sunglasses.

Can I purchase prescription sunglasses?

Yes, you can select prescription lenses when choosing your sunglass frames. Upload your prescription at checkout and your polarized prescription sunglasses will be on their way.

Need to change an order?

Couldn't quite make up your mind? We get it, there's so many great colors to choose from. While we move quickly with our orders, we're going to make sure to try and accomodate you! Please give us a call at 646-389-9692, Monday - Friday, 9am - 9pm ET.

What's the status of your order?

We sent you a tracking number in an email right after your order shipped. You can use that to track your Pair right to your door. We will also email you as soon as the package has arrived!

Where can I try on Pair glasses?

We're glad you asked!

If you're in New York City, you can visit one of two locations where you can try on the frames, browse our endless styles of top frames and buy in store on an iPad. Go here to try on:

What age groups do your glasses fit?

Our eyewear fits a wide range of face shapes and sizes. We offer five frame styles that range in size, and you can view the measurements of each frame on our main website. The Cedro and Serra are targeted for youngins in the age range of 6-9 years old. The Otero and Twain are perfect for children ages 9-12, and the Larkin is best for children ages 12 and up. These are general recommendations, but every child's face is different so we recommend using our free home try-on program to help you decide which frame is the best fit.

How does the home try-on program work?

Click this link to request a free home try on. Once you sign up, we’ll send you our home try-on kit, which allows you to find the best fitting frame for your child’s face.

Do you have glasses for adults?

Our glasses were made for children - however, if you have a small face shape like our founders, the Larkin and the Twain can fit your face! The best way to find out is by visiting one of our locations here or ordering a home try on kit - we're hoping they fit.

What lenses do you offer?

Our lenses are premium polycarbonate anti-reflective lenses designed to be shatter proof for children. At this time, we offer single vision lenses withSPH values of -8.00 through +6.00 and / or CYL values within -2.00 through + 2.00. We can also fill a CYL value from -4.00 to +4.00 if your SPH value falls between -6.00 and +6.00. If you have a question about whether we can fill your prescription, don't hesitate to reach out! What do I do if I need to adjust my pair?

If you are in New York City, we are partnered with an optometry practice that will adjust your frames for you! It is located at 30 E. 60th St. #201, New York, NY 10065.

Otherwise, we recommend visiting any local optometrist or optical store - they will usually adjust your frames for free if you ask nicely!

How do I clean my Pair?

To keep your lenses clean, wipe them down with a little mild soap and water and dry them with your Pair cleaning cloth.

How do I keep my Pair from getting lost and not breaking?

While out and about, always keep your base frame and top frames in your case. The case holds one base frame and two top frames and will keep them safe. At home, showcase your entire pair collection on your Pair Wall Hanger.

What is the wall hanger?

Your favorite new accessory! Our wall hanger allows you to magnetically display up to five top frames in your bedroom. It also has a place to hold your base frames. Everything in one place! No more lost frames at home. You can also roll your entire collection up to bring with you to camp, on vacation or on a weekend trip.

Can I order a second case?

We provide one free Pair case with every base frame purchase. However, if you have misplaced your case, contact us at hello@paireyewear.com and we'll send another over!

How long will it take me to get my order?

Once we have your prescription, it will take one business day to process your order before it is sent out for shipping. After your order is placed, you’ll immediately receive a confirmation email. We will send you another email once your order has shipped with a tracking number. Use that to track your Pair right to your door. If you choose the free standard shipping option at checkout, your glasses should arrive on your doorstep within 1 week of your order. 3 day is guaranteed shipping arrives at your door in 3 days and rush shipping arrives one day after your order has been shipped.

What kinds of shipping do you offer?

We offer three forms of shipping: free standard shipping, 3 day guaranteed and rush shipping at an additional cost. Standard shipping takes 3-7 business days, 3 day is guaranteed at your door in 3 days and rush shipping is overnight.

Can I order glasses outside of the US?

For now, we are just shipping to the US, but we will expand hopefully very soon!

Returns and Exchanges

Can I return prescription and non prescription items?

At Pair, we care. That’s why we have a 30 day, no questions asked return policy, even for prescription lenses. Head here for free returns. You can enter your order number and it will print out a free return shipping label for you. Call or email us at hello@paireyewear with any questions or concerns!

Do you accept medical insurance?

We are not directly affiliated with any vision insurance provider; however, we do accept HSA or FSA dollars if your HSA or FSA card is affiliated with a major credit card provider.

In addition, if you have an out-of-network benefit for your vision incurance, you can get reimbursed for any of our prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses. Simply, submit our receipt to your insurance company to get money back. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need help!
