Partnerships and Sales Summer Intern

At Pair, we’re on a mission to prove that glasses can be more than just a medical device. They can be an extension of your personality, your mood and interests. We are on a journey to become the go-to brand in the children’s eyewear space by creating glasses and sunglasses that kids are excited about wearing. With funding from leading venture capitalists in the consumer space, partnerships in entertainment, sports and fashion and a team of passionate individuals, our desire to change the eyewear space is off to a roaring start. We’re excited that we already have the support of Oprah Magazine, CNBC and TechCrunch helping us share our story.

 

HOW YOU’LL HELP US GROW

At Pair we are not just building cool glasses but also an incredible brand and experience that appeals to Gen Z and parents. As a sales and partnerships intern you will explore and create partnerships for Pair through different retail channels. You will report directly to our CEOs and be given a lot of individual responsibility to shape partnerships with stores, optometry practices, pop-up shops, schools and doctors. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead and manage projects to create partnerships with different channels

  • Reach out to doctors, optometry practices, and stores

  • Create wholesale deals

  • Create pitch decks and promotional materials

  • Gain experience working for a consumer startup

  • Take meetings with different consumer partners 

YOU ARE

Entrepreneurial- You’re a self-starter that loves to embrace challenges head on with the drive to find thoughtful solutions. You work smart, move fast and are always thinking about new ways to improve the customer experience. You love to teach yourself new things.

Analytical - You are thoughtful and data driven in the design decisions you make. You test your assumptions before implementing.

Creative - You are energetic, think outside of the box, willing to try new things and bring up new ideas to the team.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Currently pursuing or having finished an undergraduate or graduate degree is a related field

  • Experience creating presentations and decks

  • Willing to hustle and reach out to many partners to craft deals

  • Are good at research and can organize your research and sales plans

  • Are very organized 

  • Good writing and communication skills 

PROGRAM DETAILS AND PERKS

  • Flexible start date with a minimum commitment of 3 months (Spring/Summer preferred)

  • This is a paid internship (monthly stipend) with the potential to turn full time

  • Based in New York City, our internship program has flexible part-time or full-time options
