What are Tops Frames?

Add personality to your Pair with hundreds of swappable Top Frames that instantly snap onto your Base Frame. We have tops in unique patterns, bold colors, Sun Tops, and classics!

How Do Top Frames Attach to Base Frames?

The magic is in the magnets. Two invisible, ultra-lightweight magnets (we’re talking < 1 gram), cover the top left and right corners of the frames, firmly attaching the top frame.

What Are Top Frames Made Out Of?

How Thick Are Top Frames?

2mm. Our goal is to have our Pair Family seeing 20–20, so our Tops will not obstruct your vision.

How Heavy is a Top Frame?

The weight of a single Top Frame ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 grams, depending on the model. That’s lighter than a teaspoon of sugar! Our Sun Tops will typically add an additional 2–3 grams due to their lenses.

Love the look, less versatile for activity, nose pads hurt

"I love the style and the look. It isn't as versatile at the gym compared to my acetate Wanda and Zuri, both of which I wear jumping rope and running. My order with progressive lenses took 2 months to arrive. It's been 5 days of trying to get accustomed. Despite adjusting the nose pads and ear hooks, I'm having to look up slightly at the monitor to read and looking down to see clearer for intermediate and far distance. The lens progression doesn’t feel accurate and the area of clarity is smaller compared to the lenses I ordered for Zuri from LensDirect. I even upgraded to premier. The lenses are also not as smudge-resistant and easy to clean compared to the ones on my Zuri."

Great of Low Bridge Noses!

"I have been looking for wide oversized aviator glasses with adjustable nose pads for low bridge noses. I really think these glasses are great! They are not as oversized as I like but close enough. I would recommend these glasses. I hope Pair Eyewear will continue to design oversized eyeglasses with adjustable nose pads so they can fit a variety of nose bridges!"

Did something change in the Vic?

"I bought the Vic a few months ago and I loved them! However, my face was a bigger back then and the Vic looked too small for my face (personal preference). Since I’ve lost some weight in the past few months, I wanted to give the Vic a second chance. I was excited and hopeful because I am soooo eager for some Pair glasses! From the first fit of this new order of the Vic, the fit felt different than I remembered. After inspecting the frames, I noticed that the face of the frames are sitting at an angle and angled frames do not sit well on my face. I tried adjusting the nose pads to get a better fit and I suppose they’re fine, but I was still disappointed in the overall fit. I’m still currently debating if I will be keeping these frames, I may also try the Nola frames to see if those will work for me. I am still determined to find my Pair!"
