What are Tops Frames?

Add personality to your Pair with hundreds of swappable Top Frames that instantly snap onto your Base Frame. We have tops in unique patterns, bold colors, Sun Tops, and classics!

How Do Top Frames Attach to Base Frames?

The magic is in the magnets. Two invisible, ultra-lightweight magnets (we’re talking < 1 gram), cover the top left and right corners of the frames, firmly attaching the top frame.

What Are Top Frames Made Out Of?

How Thick Are Top Frames?

2mm. Our goal is to have our Pair Family seeing 20–20, so our Tops will not obstruct your vision.

How Heavy is a Top Frame?

The weight of a single Top Frame ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 grams, depending on the model. That’s lighter than a teaspoon of sugar! Our Sun Tops will typically add an additional 2–3 grams due to their lenses.

"These are well made strong and durable glasses you would find at your eye dr office… I was skeptical due to half the price of eye dr office. But I am over the moon happy. I got bifocal Signature Progressive Lenses and followed online to instructions (easy peasy) in getting them measured. And the bifocals are in the exact spot they need to be. . Happy day! Now to explore some toppers!! Woohoo!"

Weak magnets

"The order process was easy, they arrived quickly and the prescription was correct. The reason I gave it a 3 star is because the tops have a very weak magnet, if you just touch them on the sides, (which most people do when they adjust them on their face) they fall off. The tops are the only reason I ordered them. Now I’m out $215 and will be out even more because I now have to order prescription sunglasses."

"My second pair of Pair glasses. I love the affordability and the toppers. For some reason my toppers don't fit as well on the new black Kirby as they did on the clear kirby's I had. Pretty disappointing. I am having to bend them to get a curve but I'm afraid to break them. Didn't have this problem before."

"I wear progressive lenses which can take some adjusting to with each prescription change. This is my first time ordering glasses online and I was very hesitant because it was also for a new prescription. Today was my first day wearing my pair eye ware classes.
