What are Tops Frames?

Add personality to your Pair with hundreds of swappable Top Frames that instantly snap onto your Base Frame. We have tops in unique patterns, bold colors, Sun Tops, and classics!

How Do Top Frames Attach to Base Frames?

The magic is in the magnets. Two invisible, ultra-lightweight magnets (we’re talking < 1 gram), cover the top left and right corners of the frames, firmly attaching the top frame.

What Are Top Frames Made Out Of?

Durable, injected-molded plastic.

How Thick Are Top Frames?

2mm. Our goal is to have our Pair Family seeing 20–20, so our Tops will not obstruct your vision.

How Heavy is a Top Frame?

The weight of a single Top Frame ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 grams, depending on the model. That’s lighter than a teaspoon of sugar! Our Sun Tops will typically add an additional 2–3 grams due to their lenses.

This narrow, modified rectangle frame is a fan-favorite. The Larkin looks fantastic on most adult and older kids’ faces, and they particularly suit an oval or round shape.

Great size for pre-teen & teen

"We have purchased multiple pairs of the Larkin for my eldest son. The size is great for him. He is currently 13 and been wearing them for over a year. Also his younger brother got jealous and has a pair with clear lenses and those also fit his face. I appreciate the price point because my son is not gentle on his frames and goes through two or more a year, and this is cheaper than using insurance! He likes that he can use different toppers, but prefers clear most of the time. Here is his 8th grade school photo complete with teenaged angst."
