Here’s our prescription lens lowdown!

Proper selection and use of eyewear is critical to your eye safety. If your occupation, sports, or other activities expose you to the risk of flying objects or physical impact, your eye safety may require the use of special spectacle lens materials. We strongly recommend the use of impact resistant Standard lenses simply because your safety, vision and the health of your eyes is our main concern. Eyeglass lenses made from Basic or Premium materials are not as impact resistant as our Standard material.

Single-Vision

  • For prescriptions from -14.50D to +5.00D
  • These lenses can be made to correct distance, intermediate or near vision as a single focus lens
  • High quality UV-blocking lens materials available
  • Including our premium Anti-Reflection coatings, which are also scratch-resistant and easy to clean

Progressives

  • Our Premium quality varifocals/progressives are made using Digital Freeform Technology
  • These are the upgrade to old bifocals and trifocals
  • If your prescription had an ADD value and you are over 40 these would be ideal for you!
  • All of your visual needs taken care of in one lens, from closely reading a book to cruising down the road, do it all in your varifocal Pair
  • Including our Premium anti-reflection coatings, which are also scratch-resistant and easy to cleans

The Handy Lens Add-Ons

Blue-Light Filtering

Blue-light lenses filter out potentially harmful rays of visible light that are typically emitted during screen time and by the sun. If you spend a good chunk of time looking at your go-to electronic devices, this lens can reduce your exposure to blue-light and may help with eye fatigue and sleep issues.

Light Responsive

If you’re quickly moving from indoors to outdoors, it can be a hassle to have to swap out your glasses. These photochromic lenses darken when they hit UV light. This tint will deepen as the rays become stronger, making this Pair very practical!

What are Tops Frames?

Add personality to your Pair with hundreds of swappable Top Frames that instantly snap onto your Base Frame. We have tops in unique patterns, bold colors, Sun Tops, and classics!

How Do Top Frames Attach to Base Frames?

The magic is in the magnets. Two invisible, ultra-lightweight magnets (we’re talking < 1 gram), cover the top left and right corners of the frames, firmly attaching the top frame.

What Are Top Frames Made Out Of?

Durable, injected-molded plastic.

How Thick Are Top Frames?

2mm. Our goal is to have our Pair Family seeing 20–20, so our Tops will not obstruct your vision.

How Heavy is a Top Frame?

The weight of a single Top Frame ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 grams, depending on the model. That’s lighter than a teaspoon of sugar! Our Sun Tops will typically add an additional 2–3 grams due to their lenses.

Nicely made

"I received The Izzy yesterday and was very impressed with the quality of the frame and the toppers, however, I sent them back because they were just too big on my face. This was my first time ordering glasses online and I did not pay attention to the measurements listed. That being said, I can't say enough about how easy the return/ exchange process has been and I am very excited to receive my new frames and accessories that I JUST finished picking out (with measurements in mind!)"

Ridiculous wait and no communication.

"The glasses are great. Sturdy, correct prescription, very pretty. But only 3 stars because it took 19 days for my glasses to arrive. I started asking at 10 days why they had not shipped and never got an answer nor any type of compensation for the extended wait. Would have really loved an expedited shipping, but this was only available if I paid for it, despite the abnormal wait. I like the functionality of these glasses, but got 2 pair from Costco for the same price as 1 of these, plus ordered after 12 days of waiting for these to arrive and picked up the 2 pair from Costco on same day these finally arrived."

Heavy Frames, Poor Customer Service

"I’ll start by saying I like my glasses. I can see well with them and the frames are really cute. But they are very heavy. I find that my ears hurt by the end of the day due to the weight and I can really feel how much heavier they are with tops on. Now the rest of this is based on my experience with customer service. My glasses took 6+ weeks to arrive They didn’t email me to tell me there was an issue with the lens that was delaying the process until about 2-3 weeks after I ordered. Then when they finally shipped, DHL lost them. I spent over a week going back and forth with customer service where they just placated me by being nice, but didn’t actually help or address any of my concerns/questions. They then finally reproduced them. Despite the weight, I like my glasses, but I hope to never have to deal with their customer service again."

"I am in LOVE! This was my first time trying Pair eyewear and it was a great experience! I did the virtual try on and it was very accurate. They look great on me and fit perfectly!
